Central location, lovely historic cottage. Lots to see and do in the surrounding area. Mrs S, Margate, Kent 24 March 2011
Linden Cottage is the perfect getaway, very clean and cosy. Chloe the owner gave us a lovely welcome, beautiful views, plenty of places to see. A week not long enough, recommend this cottage to anyone. Will be back. Mrs D, Canvey Island, Essex 20 March 2011
This cottage was very well located and the welcome could not have been better. Chloe is a lovely lady, very helpful and very friendly. Lots of extras bottle of wine, tea, coffee, milk etc. all waiting for us on arrival. I would definitely recommend this holiday. Mrs M, LANCASTER 06 September 2010
Very nice and very clean cottage, lots of interesting sights within reach and a very warm welcome - we had a wonderful time ! Mr B, Hamburg 17 August 2010
We have stayed at Linden Cottage many times and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone. It has wonderful views and is very comfortable, homely and tastefully decorated, in keeping with its age. The owner is very welcoming and helpful too. The gardens are very attractive and well kept - they are a pleasure to sit in while admiring the view of Riber Castle. It is certainly one of our favourite places to stay and we will be back again! Mrs B, NEWPORT PAGNELL, Buckinghamshire 02 June 2010
Beautiful place for families and a great mixture of old buildings, entertainment and lovely parks near by. Mr H, DALTON-IN-FURNESS, Cumbria 12 November 2009
Great facilities near by at low/no cost for young families Mrs P, HARTLEPOOL, Cleveland 28 July 2009
An excellent location, good quality and a well equipped cottage with a friendly host - we will certainly go back! Mr M, SHOTTS, Lanarkshire 28 June 2009
There were beautiful views from the windows of the general area. The shops were in close proximity, along with the pub and local fish and chips, however it was still cosy and secluded for privacy. The house was extremely clean and we were welcomed with a nice gesture! There were also many leaflets in the house of activities in the surrounding area, which were very helpful. Miss H, UPMINSTER 09 June 2009
It was a superb location and the accommodation was very good. Mr W, Norwich 01 November 2008
I spent a week in October here with my daughter and grandson. The cottage is beautiful and the views from the front window is stunning, especially first thing in the morning, and yet within a few minutes walk of the facilities in Matlock. This is an ideal base for a family holiday in the Peaks and Dales. We shall be back! Mrs H, Tamworth 18 October 2008
Quiet location in a residential area - on a steep hill but giving lovely view across town to the hills. A few minutes walk from pubs and restaurants and less than 15 minutes to town centre. Mr S, Norwich 11 October 2008
Ideal location for the Dales. As usual the standard of accommodation is very good. The owner said she was awaiting an inspection from a representative. This is reassuring to know that the standards are maintained. Well done! Mrs I, Lowestoft 04 October 2008
